An in-ground pool is a different kind of project than an above-ground — it's a permanent part of your yard, shaped to the way your family actually uses the water. We build in-ground pools and custom in-ground builds, and we handle the excavation ourselves instead of farming it out. Dan walks the yard before the dig, talks through the shape and the layout with you, and gives you honest options before we ever break ground. We also build semi in-ground pools, which sit partway down and are a nice middle option when a full in-ground isn't the right fit for the yard or the budget.

The honest part: we walk the yard first for a reason
Excavation is where in-ground pools get unpredictable. You don't know what's under the ground until you dig — rock, water, tight access — and any of it can change the job. That's why we walk the yard before we quote anything. We'd rather find the rock on foot and tell you about it up front than hit it with the machine and hand you a surprise. We've dug through rock and put in the extra time to get the excavation exactly right, because that's the part that decides whether the finished pool is the one you wanted.
A note on New York State pool code
New York State's Uniform Code sets safety requirements for residential pools, including barriers and pool alarms on new pools. Your local town or city building department enforces those rules, and most new pools need a building permit. We'll point you in the right direction, but it's the homeowner's job to check with their town on what's required where you live.
What a customer said
Parimutuel Pools installed our 24' round Radiant semi in ground pool last year, and we cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and the quality of their work. Dan is fantastic. He went above and beyond to make sure the outcome of the excavation was exactly what we wanted, even after hitting some rocks along the way that meant extra time and effort on his part. We couldn't be happier with our pool, and we thank Parimutuel Pools for a job extremely well done!
