Can you use the parts the first installer left?

That depends on the condition of the parts and whether they're compatible with what we'd build. We'll check everything on site and tell you honestly what can be kept and what should go back.

Will you finish an in-ground pool someone else started?

We'll come look at it and tell you honestly what it would take to finish. Sometimes what's there can be built on; sometimes it has to come out first. We'll show you which before we start.

Do I need a new permit?

Check with your town or city building department. The existing permit may still apply, or the town may want changes reviewed. Most new pools need a building permit, and the local building department is who enforces that. We'll point you in the right direction, but it's the homeowner's job to confirm with their town.

What do I need to have ready when you come out?

The checklist on this page is a good start — photos of everything as it is today, your contract and receipts, what was paid and what was done, and a list of parts and materials left on the property. The more we can see, the faster we can tell you where things stand.

What does it cost to finish?

It depends on what's already done and what has to be redone. A half-dug hole with good parts is a different job than a pool set on a bad base. We'll walk the site with you and lay out the options before anything is decided.

The honest part

Sometimes work that was already done has to come out, because a pool built on a bad base won't last. If that's the case, we'll show you why before we touch anything. We'd rather tell you the truth up front than build on top of a problem and have you call us again next season. Here's a customer who ran into exactly that.

Reached out to Parimutuel to do a quick repair, or so I thought. They were prompt, showed up on a Saturday morning and got to work. Pretty quickly it became evident I had bigger issues as the straps under the pool had rotted away.
